DUCTZ Gives Back to Those in Need
We believe building a trusted, sustainable business is about more than providing exceptional air duct cleaning and HVAC restoration—although we do that, too. At DUCTZ, our entire family including our franchise owners and their teams are committed to community outreach. We volunteer our time, money, and skills to make a difference in the local communities we serve. When you choose DUCTZ for your cleaning and restoration, you’ll get a company that not only delivers high-quality results but also cares about making a positive difference in the lives of its neighbors. Below, learn more about two of the outreach organizations with whom we’ve developed solid relationships.
Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity seeks to provide simple, decent, and affordable housing to families in need. Most of these homes are existing, refurbished structures with an unknown history. Because of this, our DUCTZ franchise owners and their teams in each territory clean the HVAC system in each home after construction, before a family moves in, to ensure the best possible indoor air quality. According to estimates, more than 30% of all children moving into a Habitat for Humanity house suffer from severe allergies and asthma. A thorough HVAC system cleaning service from DUCTZ can significantly reduce allergens and asthma triggers in the home.
Ronald McDonald House Charities
When children are admitted to local hospitals for extended periods, their families understandably want to remain close to them. However, hospitals are not the best accommodations for non-patients, hotels can get pricey very quickly, and homes are often just a bit too far away. Ronald McDonald House Charities provides temporary housing so that families can stay together and near the healthcare facility at little or no cost. Our DUCTZ franchise owners and their teams perform annual dryer vent cleaning services for these houses, take part in fundraisers, and help prepare and serve meals to families as they attempt to make this unimaginable experience as stress-free as possible.
