Read MoreAir duct cleaning is a service every homeowner or business owner should schedule periodically, but it’s also a service that can often be overlooked. If this is your first time scheduling air duct cleaning, or it’s your first time choosing DUCTZ, we want you to have a solid understanding of what you can expect.
Your friendly and experienced DUCTZ professionals will begin the service by thoroughly explaining the DUCTZ process and completing an initial assessment of your system. Before starting the cleaning process, we will connect a collections unit to your system which collects dust, dirt, and debris that has accumulated in the ductwork.
This device has three stages of filtration, including a HEPA-filtered system that will keep the air clean and prevent the contaminants captured during the cleaning process from being released back into your home or building. Constant negative pressure from this machine traps debris as our professionals use brushes and other specialized in-duct agitation devices to remove non-adhered contaminates from the ductwork.
Our highly trained professionals will clean both supply and return sides of the HVAC system, and clean the air handler cabinet including coils and the blower motor. If we find microbial growth in your system, we’ll apply an EPA-approved antimicrobial agent to the coil and air ducts to inhibit microbial growth.
Once we’ve finished, we’ll patch and tape all access holes per NADCA standards before turning on your HVAC system. You may notice that system efficiency returns to peak levels following duct cleaning and restoration.
After your system has been thoroughly cleaned we will provide you with a picture report showing your system components before and after the cleaning process. This report is excellent to keep with your records, showing you the condition of your ductwork and what was removed. We’re happy to provide you with a recommendation on how frequently you should schedule service based on our findings.
Some factors we consider in determining service frequency include:
Every one of our DUCTZ professionals adheres to the strict industry standards set forth by NADCA and ACCA along with the EPA Post-Consumer Checklist for Air Duct Cleaning.
We provide continuous training for our DUCTZ technicians to ensure that they are delivering the highest level of service while staying up to date on the latest, safest and most advanced practices.
