The Richmond Southside DUCTZ Team

Tommy Hoopsick owns two DUCTZ Franchises. He was home schooled all his life and began working in his parents asphalt company as a teenager. After he graduated high school, Tommy began working at a distribution center for Food Lion Grocery Stores. While working night shift at the warehouse, he would also work during the day with then current owner of DUCTZ of Richmond Southside, Russell Dixon, or for his parents in the asphalt business. After Tommy began working for DUCTZ, Russell noticed his ambition, and started planning his offer for Tommy to purchase the franchise. At 19 years old Tommy became the youngest owner in the history of the BELFOR Franchise Group. So, in 2012, Tommy began cold calling and building his franchise. At the same time business was picking up, Tommy was looking to expand. He met with the current owner of the DUCTZ location in Philadelphia and began the process of buying that location as well. The purchased was finalized in December 2016 and Tommy worked with BELFOR Franchise Group to adjust the territory and location to better fit his needs. In the large market of Philadelphia, Tommy and his team are busy growing the business and giving their customers the best experience possible. In his free time, Tommy reads books to help him improve his businesses, attends self developed and networking events, and is always looking for the next opportunity.

BIO

Brad started with DUCTZ in 2016. In 2018 Brad left DUCTZ and worked in the electric industry. In 2019 Brad returned to DUCTZ and we are glad to have him back. Brad is completing his NADCA certification and now runs a crew.

Brian started with DUCTZ in August of 2019. Brian found out about DUCTZ through local community events and became friends with the Dave over time. We are excited to have Brian on board and look forward to the future.

Corey started with DUCTZ in September of 2018. Previously he had worked at Chick-Fil-A and Excel Truck Group. Corey grew up in Chesterfield and graduated from Cosby high school. He is a dedicated worker and always goes the extra mile. In his free time he enjoys playing pick up basketball and looking for new rental properties to purchase.

Derrick has been with DUCTZ since 2014

Ann was a volunteer worker at the beginning of DUCTZ when Tommy had just opened for business. She now handles accounting, bookkeeping, and office management for the company. Ann grew up in Clearfield, PA and then attended Business School in Erie, PA. After relocating to Colonial Heights, VA she worked at a local bookbindery until she became a stay at home mom with her first child. Ann is also a lobbyist for HEAV when the legislation is in session and does volunteer work with local families.

Dave has been with DUCTZ since 2012 when he attended initial training with Tommy in Ann Arbor, MI at DUCTZ Headquarters. Before DUCTZ Dave worked in the Construction and Asphalt industries. He manages the warehouse, scheduling, and estimating and also helps Project Manager on large jobs.

Ed approached DUCTZ in late 2017 and wanted to join the team. In 2018 we brought Ed on as our head of outside sales.
